I don't include HLA's server expenses in postActiv's stated patreon since a couple people asked.  I consider that part of HLA's stuff, not part of postActiv's.

The expenses for postActiv here webops way are a few things:

1] dedicated server lease (bulk of the money, right here)
2] domain name fees and other stuff like that
3] offsite backup
4] a few incidentals like stock photography I use in the site, though I would prefer to find similar CC licensed stuff I can't spin days looking for it so...
5] I put a couple hours worth of the going rate for sysadmin stuff in that price to be fair to myself about the time taken to keep the server for the website (postactiv.com) and the instance going steady.  It's probably more than this if I pinched pennies and minutes and hours and all that, but as couple hours at min wage seems more than fair.
